Temperature Sensors for Data Centres & Server Rooms, Thermal Monitoring Kit

Critical Things

At EkkoSense we believe that getting granular thermal data from every rack and cooling unit in the facility is vital for successful data centre risk management. Our Critical Things range of low-cost wireless and wired sensors address this requirement, providing accurate real-time data for our EkkoSoft Critical software. By disrupting the traditional cost model for sensors, we’re making it much easier for organisations to deploy sensors across critical environments – ensuring that you have access to real-time thermal data that you can act on.
Making ASHRAE compliance a reality EkkoSoft’s Critical Things sensors range from standard temperature and RH sensors through to unique cooling duty sensors such as EkkoAir – the only sensor available that can report the real-time cooling duty for any type of cooling unit. All EkkoSense sensors report into EkkoHub, the company’s 2-way wireless hub. We also supply and fit a range of 3-phase and DC power meters which can be retrofitted into existing equipment or come in our pre-built panels to enhance environmental data with key cooling and I.T. power monitoring. Our engineers can also integrate with client’s existing critical devices that utilise Modbus and BACnet protocols without disrupting existing systems.

Key Critical Things capabilities:

Rack Thermal Monitoring – a range of wireless sensors for rack and room temperature, and relative humidity environmental monitoring Rack Thermal Monitoring with Display – a dual purpose, 2-way display capability enables in-room monitoring – also displays key operational information from the EkkoSoft Critical platform
EkkoAir for cooling duty – live cooling and airflow monitoring for critical CRAC cooling duty performance, enabling the visualisation of actual cooling performance EkkoHub Receiver – EkkoSense’s Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled wireless receiver for Critical Things sensors – enabling 2-way communications with sensors across the data centre
